At Ascension Leadership Academy, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our students thrive when they can connect lessons to real-world experiences, and a recent field trip to Attalla, Alabama, provided just that opportunity.

Middle and high school students in September visited Tigers for Tomorrow, a wild animal preserve and rescue center dedicated to the care and protection of exotic animals. During the visit, students gained hands-on learning experiences while exploring the preserve and observing majestic lions and tigers up close.
Staff at Tigers for Tomorrow taught students about the unique needs of exotic animals and the importance of environmental stewardship in maintaining their health and well-being. Students learned how proper habitats, conservation efforts, and responsible care play a vital role in protecting these animals and ensuring their future.
This field trip reinforced valuable lessons in science, conservation, and responsibility while sparking curiosity and thoughtful discussion among students. Experiences like this help Ascension Leadership Academy students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
At Ascension Leadership Academy, we believe experiential learning builds strong minds, compassionate hearts, and engaged students, preparing them not only for academic success, but for meaningful lives beyond the classroom.
